waiting for snowfall


clear spaces waiting
unfilled by car -- or snowplow
ready for the storm


the threat of tickets
how broad the street is, waiting
ready for the storm

snowfall brings parking tickets
broad road awaits plow

anticipation
heavy snowfall predicted
prepare for the plow

secret breadth to narrow ways
