Mysteries without Murders?
Feb. 9th, 2013 11:54 pmThinking about TV... I realized today that the TV shows my household follows (NCIS, Bones, The Mentalist, etc) present an almost relentless stream of murder after murder. I would like a break from this, but its tricky to find shows/genres that BOTH of us like.
Can anyone please recommend to me TV shows that are
1. currently airing (OK to be between seasons)
2. essentially about solving mysteries
3. which are mostly not murders?
An example of what I would consider "essentially" a mystery-solving show is "House", in which the mysteries are medical diagnoses. "Leverage" meets the criterion, too, with the slowly unveiled con-job playing the role of the mystery.
