mom's visit

 My mom came out on a last-minute overnight to visit yesterday. We had a nice time. Ate at Flora (amazzzzingly good Toasted Cheddar and Sage Polenta with roasted apple slices), then read to each other from Uncle Larry's bank's collection of short-stories from the CIS.


I spilt some hot tea on my soaf-cushion. I blotted it with paper towels as fast as I could (lifting some tan color onto the paper), then rinsed it in the shower. Oddly, it looks like there is now a LIGHTER patch, where the tea hit. Anyone know what's up with that?
