Jul. 3rd, 2008 06:43 pmLeft work early today (per my boss's suggestion) because the market closes at 1. So all the investment ppl kinda empty out immediately after.
Got lots of picking-up stuff errands done. Still angry at WageWorks, but I should probably suck it up and buy this month's pass post-tax.
Ironically, I have now TWO full-season sets of potential next-ups for Monday TV ... and I will be out of town til Tuesday. Probably.
Preparing to go to fireworks tomorrow. I am glad to hear the forecast is for rain, but only in the morning.
Am thinking of going to the 8:30 pm preview concert tonight, if time. Anyone else is there, feel free to give me a call.
(Which reminds me: antenna broke off my cell. I'm hearing people fine, but they hear me breaking up. And the calls drop too often. Be warned)
Oh, and you want to know where I was when it snapped fully? In the cell-phone store!
But that did me no good, because none of the Verizon phones short of the Blackberry Pearl have my must-have "vibe-then-ring" (aka "silent first ring") mode. And of course they don't make my current phone Motorola E815 any more. Not that I'd really want it -- this has been a crappy phone.
The Pearl is more than I was intending to pay for a phone tho, and I didn't like the track-ball on the sample I tried in-store. Plus it would require a data-plan. On the plus side, being able to have my own electronic vade-mecum calendar would be nice. I've been relying heavily on Jonathon's, which is convenient, but feels a little unbecoming.
