Would love to see it with you. I do know the references in the comic so I can explain them if you want to know but I don't think that it will impact your enjoyment of the movie to NOT know. Actually, I'm told that not being a comic book purist might be an advantage when seeing this one.

I was thinking about it, but I don't think I'm quite close enough! The last time I read the comic was my senior year of high school, after which I loaned my copy to someone and never got it back . . .

I'd go see it at 7:15 at The Coolidge, rather than the Kendall, because I'm going to see Fluttr Effect at a show at Great Scott in Allston that starts at 9pm.

I was thinking Thurs the 12, because travel time on Wed might be cutting it too close. I have an event that ends at 6, at MIT.

Well that week has ended now, but at the time I commented, it was pretty much too late for Friday, so Saturday was the only day left.
