The real reason people can't find success in Pawtucket is because it is impossible to find *anything* there. You're driving down the street, in the vague direction of you destination and suddenly there is a fork in the road that takes you everywhere except where you want to go. So you take a path, possibly the one less traveled, but it doesn't matter. Soon there is another fork that gives you no choice but to go even further away from where you're going. After a few more forks you have no idea where you are, no clue where you want to go, and would happily settle for just leaving.
