cold weather gear

I have my scarf back now from chanaleh where I'd left it at the erev x-mas Fri Night dinner -- hooray! Now, with polartec scarf and gorgeous gift hat A. knitted me, I am so much more prepared to face the 5° days.
(so cold.... was in pain walking in wind. (wind was bringing apparent temp down to -12, I heard))
