happy Hannukah
Dec. 20th, 2011 11:58 pmI cooked up the last batch of my pumpkinsquash gnocchi for dinner. In honor of the holiday, I pan-fried them in olive oil (with sage & garlic & diced carrots) after the boiling. It was delicious.
Recipe was kind of a pain to make... but then the tiny-looking batch of dough resulted in many more servings than I'd expected!
Huh, I guess this is a Hannukah-y dish after all :-) The butternuts had had a previous life as Sukkah decorations, so it's a "holiday" dish twice over.
