Turkish food in the area
Jun. 12th, 2009 07:41 amHello!
Great interest seems to have been prompted by my post in Another Social Networking Site regarding my recent Turkish dinner.
The restaurant is called "Pasha". It is in Arlington Center, one block past Not Your Average Joe's. The place is small, and pretty. The staff were nice. The food was tasty, although some dishes were better than others. Prices were reasonable, and many of the appetizers are bigger than you might expect.
I liked their style of hummus; an unusually creamy texture. The bread was some sort of puffy loaf, not the pita-type bread I was expecting (and might have preferred). The Mucver zucchini fritters were amazing.
I recommend the place to you.

Has the Sultan's Kitchen in Boston (near Faneuil) closed, that people are so starved for Turkish?
That place has amazing food, although not really much place to sit down and eat it.
