A review, for those w/o access to ScienceIdentifying words (or images) by the pattern of brain-activation.
The image-identification model sounds more basic to me -- we know various attributes of an image have specially receptive neuron clusters. But the word-identification one is cool & new. They use the noun's associations with simple verbs, because the verbs have more-readily identifiable activation patterns. Go read it :-)
