Christmas & New Years 2007-8

At New Years, a bunch of parties got canceled but also one got added at the last moment. This ended up being for the best, for me, because it simplified the traveling arrangements muchly. The giant puzzle which Richard & Gundella had striven over at Starbase was now framed on the wall at Richard & Gundella's new apartment, and looking very charming.
For Gilly's New Years I had baked a Dalek Cake So much fun! And oh MAN did it smell chocolatey!
Pup (& Joell) acted as an advance team, distracting Gilly into the kitchen ("oh, would you like a shoulder-rub? You would? "), while Jonathon & I assembled in the cleared-off corner of the dining room coffee table. Then everyone in the room cheerfully began either crying "Exterminate" or screaming in fear, as I presented the cake to Gilly.
