things to do, people to see
Nov. 20th, 2005 07:15 pmThursday, the much-anticipated Star Wars Musical Edition. Enjoyed the show, but it really needed subtitles -- bad sound. All the words I could hear though, were very funny. The set + lights worked very well, in my opinion, and the costumes were impressive. They'll be selling DVDs, I hear.
Recognized about 1/4 of the crowd, unsurprisingly.
Friday, Eitz Chayim. Enjoyed seeing people I've missed seeing over the last many weeks.
Post services, trip to Harry Potter with friends from work plus
metoikos & her guy.
Saturday, I slept till noon and I am perversely proud of that. Visited
buckydt, and we went to a used book sale up in Lexington.
Saturday night, a tasty fondue-not-birthday party, and then
Sunday morning a Committeee + Teaching + Staff Meeting day at hebrew school. Blah -- I am sick of my kids. Blah.
Soon it will be Thanksgiving, and I will go home. Called up my brother today, to growl about little kids and to make plans to steal away to Jakes and hang out together for a while, like we did last year. I see the start of an excellent sibling tradition. :-)
