My mom IMmed me that she'd heard Bush being told that Arafat was dead, as she listened to Bush on NPR. Google news is unconclusive. And really, I don't need *another* crazy breaking-news chase. The Sox scores and the Election have been enough, thanks.
Bush says, "My first reaction is: 'God bless his soul'. ... My second reaction is that we will continue to work for a free Palestinian state that's at peace with Israel."
