jewlery from my grandmother

Today I got a package of some jewlery from my grandmother. Two necllaces, one that's just a pendant and one that has a chain. I think they are really really nice, an opinion surely influenced by the source, but not unjustified. This is jewlery that came from her "estate," ie stuff that my dad & uncles (plus aunts and mother) were dividing up. There was a whole bunch of emailing back and forth and digital pictures as the cousins etc got to put in requests. I asked for both of these pieces and got them. In person, this pendant on the chain is even more attractive and also reminds me even more of Savta than I was expecting.

Putting on this necklace today made me feel warm & bit fuzzy.

Putting up this post is a nice change from the long one about house conflict that's been too long my last post. (I've had a few other things to say since then, but then I didn't get around to writing them up.) I'm glad to have this instead.
