how are ya?
Dec. 14th, 2003 01:54 amIt's late and I should be in bed getting sleep before Hebrew School. (I'm not.)
Things on my agenda to do today/yesterday:
change my flat tire to the spare
write awesome lesson plan for this Sunday's class
find nearest Town Fair Tire to get warranty-replacement tire from
begin designing stunning Nazgul ringwraith costume for Hobbit Horde trip to Return of the King.
pick up application form at the "Saltworks" knicknack shop a half-block away (excellent commute, eh?)
Things accomplished today:
left bedroom --- twice!
Oh, I shouldn't sell myself short: I also had lunch, and answered a telephone call from my folks.
whoohoo!
In other news, there is a small but serious possibility that I might get hired soon. But not for a casual, getting-used-to-working again part-time type thing. It would be a work-until-the-work-is-done style full time position.
They've called reference and want another interview with me.
There was definitely part of me that was hoping that it would never get past the reference-checking stage. "Maybe they won't hire me" has been my mantra. Thus the picking up of holiday clerk type applications anywhere in walking distance (not that I've actually done it yet).
