it's just an ordinary day
Nov. 16th, 2003 03:07 amAnother day in a fairly boring life. I'm not doing much that would be journal-worthy most days. I learned a new game yesterday, a variation of Scrabble: each player makes their own Scrabble-crossword, whose letters they can rearrange, and races the other players. It's called something like "Syzygy."
Attended a grad school info session at Simmons, for their teaching Masters programs, specifically the E.S.L program. I came along on the spur of the moment with a housemate who was going. That was interesting, mildly intimidating, even more mildly inspiring, and a good use of an evening. I still maintain I'm not yet ready for grad school.
Noticed that virtually all of the other people at the info session had much nicer clothes than I. Hmm, I should go shopping, I guess.
Made some job phone calls.
Acquired the bus tickets for getting back from New York with Andrew. Ellen has been greatly helpful as a source of directions around the city. Too bad she is no longer there, so I can't sleep over and see her.
At last I have drawn up my outline of what topics I plan to cover when for the whole year for my Hebrew School class. That feels good.
